Stuart R. Kudman focuses on transactions and business law. Raised in a family involved in international business, he is at ease negotiating deals representing foreign companies and U.S. companies doing business abroad. He is a businessman who practices law rather than a lawyer who practices business.
Negotiating the deal
From intellectual property to licensing, Mr. Kudman focuses on his clients’ needs and their goals. He understands the elements of a successful deal, including the financing and the people. Twenty percent of his practice is in Europe and he has successfully represented clients in countries such as Greece and Italy as well as U.S. companies doing business abroad. Over the course of his practice, he has handled more than $1 billion in deals, helping to sell companies to Pfizer, Pitney-Bowes, Johnson & Johnson, Pearson PLC, Corinthian Capital, and American Greetings.
The relationship with his clients is paramount to Mr. Kudman. He provides responsive service—he answers the phone when clients call 24/7.
Representing the middle market
Mr. Kudman is an entrepreneur and understands the entrepreneurial mind. He represents mid-size companies—whether closely held or publicly held—in deals ranging from $5 million to $250 million.
